Are You Following And Worshipping A False god?

• Possible False gods: Money, A Person, Fame, Success, Pleasure, Power, Your Career, Hobbies, Even Good Things Can Become False gods.
• Whatever’s Captured Your Heart—And Whatever You Give Your Highest Priority Is Your God!

Anything That Takes Priority Over God And His Way For My Life—Becomes A False god—Actions Speak Louder Than Words. 

• It’s Not About Legalism; It’s About Love For Jesus!
• What Are You In The Habit Of Doing?—Putting God First—Or Second?

Hebrews 10:25, “…and let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

Matthew 6:33, “Seek FIRST a right relationship with God and the building of His church and He will add all these other things to your life.”

The Issue Is Not Salvation—The Issue Is Loving God Above All Things!

Mark 12:29-30, “Jesus replied, ‘The most important commandment is this: ‘Listen, O Israel! The Lord our God is the one and only Lord. 30 And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’”

• We’re Saved By Grace But We Love God By Obeying His Commands!

John 14:15, (Jesus Said) “If you love me, obey my commandments.”

Are You Worshipping A False god—Or The One And Only True God?

1 Kings 18:38-40

Elijah Eliminates The Prophets Of Baal and asherah.

• God Is A Loving God—And A Just God!
• God Knows Who Will Turn To Follow Him—And Who Won’t! — Romans 8:29

2 Peter 3:9b, “…The Lord does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.”

• God Knew The Prophets Of Baal Would Continue To Lead People Astray.

Hebrews 12:1b, “…let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.”

We Can’t Allow Non-Believers To Cause Us To Stumble In Our Walk With God.

Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 15 What harmony is there between Christ and Satan?…16 What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God…”

• Be Persistent In Your Prayers—Keep Asking—Don’t Give Up!
• PUSH- Pray Until Something Happens!

Faith Believes God—With Little Or No Evidence!

• Faith Is Believing, Imagining, Trusting And Doing!

Matthew 17:20, “Jesus Said, ‘Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed,

you can say to this mountain, “Move from here to there,” and it will move. Nothing will be

impossible for you.’”

Hebrews 11:1, “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” (ESV)

• That Kind Of Faith Is Hard To Find These Days!

God’s Called Us To Stand Against Evil—To Stand For Him And His Ways!

• We Are So Quick To Grasp—To Cling To Just About Anything We Can Find—To Give Us Whatever It Is We Think We Need.
